Every time I try to sign on?

to a.i, m, a message comes up saying, " Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Buffer overrun detected!

ProgramL C:\Program Files\AIM\aim.exe

A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the program's internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated.

What does this mean? Any suggestions on what I should do?

Contact AOL Support..
Reply:Have you tried to reinstall AIM? Try to uninstall the program first, reinstall it, and if you get the same error, make sure your windows is up-to-date via microsoft.com. dl any updates needed, if that doesn't work AOL support and godspeed.
